1. Select four stable anchor points (trees, posts, hooks, or wall anchors). Ensure 12" to 36" (30cm to 90cm) of space between the anchor points and netting corners for optimal tension and stability.
2. Attach the shade sail's metal D-rings to the anchor points using ropes, carabiners, or bungee cords. Use turnbuckles on two corners for precise tension adjustments.
3. Fix the first corner, then the opposite corner to establish the desired tension and angle.
4. Adjust the remaining corners to eliminate sagging and balance the fabric.
5. Tighten progressively to avoid overstretching and ensure even tension across the netting.
6. Verify stability by checking for smooth contact with no sharp friction points, making any necessary adjustments for a secure setup.
