Mounting: Ground/surface-mount base plate, bolt-down installation
Suitable For:
Shade sails and sun sail canopies
Patio, garden, and backyard awnings
Temporary or semi-permanent outdoor shade structures
Supplementing existing wall/post anchor points where a freestanding support is needed
A shade sail is only as good as what holds it up. These 10 ft (3.05 m) galvanized steel shade sail poles give your sun shade a solid anchor point, and they let you position your shade exactly where you need it instead of relying on walls, fences or trees.
That freedom matters most on open patios, pool decks, driveways and garden corners where there's simply nothing to attach to.
Create shade where there was none
With freestanding shade sail poles, you decide where the shade falls. Mount a triangle or rectangle shade sail over a seating area, stretch a sun shade canopy across a play zone, or pair two poles with an existing wall to cover a patio or terrace.
Because the poles stand 10 feet tall, the sail sits high enough to walk under comfortably while still casting a wide shaded area below.
Built for years outdoors
Each heavy-duty pole is made from thickened, reinforced galvanized steel. The surface coating resists rust, corrosion and UV exposure, so the poles hold up through sun, rain and temperature swings without flaking or weakening.
The mounting hardware carries the same anti-corrosion coating, which matters: fittings are usually the first thing to fail on outdoor structures, not the poles themselves. Once tensioned, a shade sail pulls hard on its anchor points, and these poles are built to take that load season after season.
Assembly without the hassle
Each pole comes in 3 sections that slot directly into each other. No screws are needed to join them, and the connection stays tight and clean-looking once assembled.
This also makes the poles far easier to transport and store than a single 10 ft length of steel.
Choose your height
Each pole ends in a set of 3 hooks, so you can pick the height that works best for your space. Set it lower for a snug, close-to-seating feel, or higher for more headroom and a wider spread of shade.
Removable shade sail poles: bolted down, not cemented in
On hard surfaces like concrete slabs, paved patios and pool surrounds, the poles anchor with the included expansion bolts. No digging, no wet concrete, no waiting for anything to cure.
And because they're bolted rather than set in cement, these removable shade sail poles come down as easily as they go up: unbolt them to store them for winter, move them to a new spot, or take them with you if you move house.
Installing on grass or soil?
Soft ground needs a proper footing. Set the base in concrete (with a steel cage for extra strength) and the poles will be just as stable as on a slab.
These removable shade sail support poles give your canopy the strong, tensioned frame it needs to look good and stay put on your backyard patio or your garden lounge area.

I needed a shade cloth for two purposes. First, to block the hot afternoon summer sunshine at the West end of the carport so that the shop at the other end would stay cooler. Second, to provide a visual screen so the neighbors wouldn't have to look at our messy carport.
I purchased a shade cloth from another company previously that was supposed to allow wind to pass through, but it acted like a sail.
I put up your shade cloth today. I purchased two 10 ft sections instead of a 20 ft section so that I could get into the middle of the carport easier. It does a good job of screening the view of the carport while allowing the wind to easily pass through. I'll have to wait until next summer to see how much it helps with blocking the heat from the sunshine, but I'm optimistic that it will provide some relief.
So far it looks like a good product and it was easy to install. I especially like that it allows the wind to pass through.
Love the 40% white shade cover. I use this to cover my Azaleas and rhododendron from the summer sun heat. I have purchased 4 times for different flower beds. I highly recommend for shade/sun protection.
within weeks of minimizing the direct sun exposure these 3 are all springing back and are thriving. One day soon I will get them all transported into the ground.
We were looking for better shade within our lanai and wanted something we could use only when needed. This retractable canopy is the perfect solution! The material seems really nice and will hopefully hold up well to the elements. It was a little bit of work to install, but it was able to be done by one person. We didn’t receive installation instructions, and one set of hanging hardware was missing, but we reached out to customer service and received a prompt response rectifying the issues. We like it so much we’re ordering a second one to complete the space! For the second one we’re doing a custom size, and that process was really easy as well. One note is that while the measurements on the website are in feet and meters, the meters appear to be the more accurate metric (I think it’s made based on the metric measurement and then rounded to the nearest foot, so it’s not precise to the inch).
A brilliant fix for our 3m x 2m conservatory during this prolonged heatwave! Previously it was like having an oven attached to the back of our bungalow with temperatures upwards of 44 degrees but after adding the aluminet shade cover over the roof (shiny side up as per instructions) it has reduced the temperature inside significantly and in turn, made the kitchen cooler. So glad my research found your company!
I'm new to having a greenhouse but wasn't too surprised to find that it didn't take long for it to get so hot the flowers were falling off my tomato plants. The 40% white shade has made a ton of difference. It still gets plenty of sun without the intense heat.
I love that the shade is graded by percentage. I wanted 50% and some cloths block too much sun. Accurate sizing, well-made with sewn edges and grommets.
The shade cloth fits perfect for the space I needed. It matches my white porch. It isl of a higher quality than what I expected. I know from the image you can't really tell but it's the first time hydrangeas are actually growing in this space. Love it and will definitely buy more.
Just what I need to take the harsh edge off the sun for my cacti greenhouse! Grommets on the sides made it easy to install. Quality materials, sturdy, and feels like it will last a while.
50% shade cloth over my garden in SWFL, my tropical spinach’s, Everglades tomatoes, sweet potatoes, peppers, green onions and herbs are thriving. Would buy again, very well made attached to 8ft T-poles.
Easy to install and perfect for giving my garden a little protection from the harsh South Louisiana afternoon sun. So far it has held up fine through several thunderstorms and a tropical storm.
Blocking excessive wind and sun was my goal. I built a makeshift protection area and the results were great. I will get more when I figure out a game plan for the future with this climate change that does not allow for what is occurring in NW New Mexico, Thanks
We are very pleased with the shade for our new garden box. That part of our yard gets sun the majority of the day. The temps have been pretty toasty lately!
I ordered this shade cover because I thought it would help protect my hydrangeas from the intense sun here in Colorado and it does! I didn’t know what size would work best, the 3x6’ or the 6x6’. The smaller one works perfectly so I’m returning the other one. The shade is well made and I’m sure it will last years. I used stakes from another supplier and everything looks good and it is not intrusive in my garden. In short, it works and my hydrangeas are happy!
Hoping this reduces the heat on those 100+ degree days and most importantly increases the number of tomatoes we get. Still to early to tell but fingers crossed.
Thanks Scott
Shade arrived quickly and is surprisingly light-weight, given that it's 90% shade. I needed something to prevent my hostas from frying up in the heat/ brightest time of the day, as they were transplanted from a shady area ( I should have known better). It took a few trials to get the 10 x 10 shade to cover the plants and be at the right angle to prevent sunlight getting underneath it. We rigged it to a combo of pool gate posts and garden stakes. I would have given it 5 stars if I had ordered a better size for my garden area. Overall, I'm thrilled that my plants are thriving and I see the flowers from the hostas growing as well! Would recommend this product!!
I did an online purchase of the shade to protect my super hot pepper plants from the harsh Texas sun. Only took a few minutes to order. Very happy with the results.

The shade cloth is amazing! It has so far provided excellent shade from the hot summer sun. My yard mainly receives sunlight from the south and I need my japanese maples to stay healthy from scorched leaves. This shade cloth helps a lot in achieving healthy leaves for brilliant fall colors. Thank you!
Perfect fit, the glue on the Velcro is very strong and holds. I need to have access to open my windows constantly and this keep mosquitoes, flys and dust out. I’m glad I ordered
