At 90% shading, the cloth blocks nearly all direct solar radiation while still allowing minimal diffused light to pass through. What is it good for?

At 90% density, the primary use cases shift away from plant production and toward heat management for animals, people, and equipment:

Material and construction

These panels are made from aluminized polyethylene (HDPE) using a tape knit construction. The open mesh holds its shape across seasons, resists fraying, and maintains its reflective properties under sustained outdoor exposure. Each panel is hemmed on all sides with reinforced corners and fitted with PVC grommets along the perimeter for installation with standard wire, rope, or hardware fittings.
