even more robust than expected!

Well constructed. My tomato plants are thriving in the greenhouse since the addition of the shade cloth. It's standing up to the crazy winds we've been experiencing and hasn't budged.
Christopher Barlow
Fantastic cover for my raised garden bed. Protects my plants from sun, helps during long periods of rain to not drown my plants, keeps deer off of my plants, and has lasted 3 seasons and that’s including harsh winters. 10/10 recommend. Also very cheap for the quality that it is.
Nicholas Landin
It was challenging to find 30% and more challenging to find the right dimensions to fit my greenhouse. This is a bit too long with the shelves in the way but it was easy to put up and it’s working to keep the temps from getting insanely high.
Sabrina White
I live in the desert and it gets so hot here during the summer and my plants have no shade. I put this over some of my peppers. The peppers under the net grew so much better. We also get a lot of strong wind and this held up so well and didn't have any damage when I took it down at the end of the season.
Ronald Allen
This shade cloth is just right for the onions we have growing after temperatures jumped from the 60s to the 80s within a week. I will also be using it this summer for tomato and other plants once temperatures head above 95 (which happened for about 10 weeks last year) to keep them producing rather than going into dormancy. It is also a lot more comfortable working in the garden out of the searing sun when the temperature is really high. This woven shade cloth should last several years (as long as hailstones remain small!) since the grommets are backed up with webbing and are very sturdy. The cloth is very lightweight and was easy to pull over the smooth poles of our greenhouse frame.
Ellis Walters
Living in North Florida, the intense sun even in Spring, will sun burn the tops of the tomato fruit that are not covered by leaves. I bought the 30 percent shade cloth and it has made a huge difference in the tomato quality.
The cloth was economical to buy and easy to apply and tie down to the greenhouse, being it had the grommets. I also bought more cloth to cover lettuce and peppers growing in raised beds with hoops. Only downside is I wish they had longer sizes of cloth, but all we did is hook two panels together to cover entire tomato house. Definitely will buy again.

I have a yard where some areas get 12 hrs of sun.
At the same time, it's a sever winter zone.
So there are few plants and trees to which can survive both; and most 12 hrs of sun is simply too much, even with tons of watering.
These shade nets saved me.
The ones struggling I figure out to get them behind these for half the day, and they start thriving again.
Liam Dawbin
Blocks uv rays and alliws rain

I used this to protect my tomatoes and peppers from the Las Vegas heat. As soon as I put it up using ties and metal stakes I had the tomatoes looked healthier and I got a new harvest as well, even in 115 degree heat! Mesh keeps air flowing. I got the large version which covers my 20x 8 semi circle garden
Finley Gibbons
I have bought a few brands of shade cloth. I tried this one because of the grommets, which are great. I got 2 of the 30% in 3x8m. The quality seems good and should last a while. I would order them again.
Alica Woodhouse
I wanted a very lightweight, inexpensive and see-through net. This was just right.
Eve Springfield
It works great! Just enough sun blockage for my herbs so they don't fry in the sun.
Freddie Franklin
I used this over my garden and it made a huge difference in the hot wether. Just took it down for the season and it is in great condition and ready for next year.
Declan Hill
It's still in the package. It looks ok. Will update my review later.
Marcus Niven
Provides the perfect amount of shade
Elliot Heath
We put this over some seedling sunflowers we started in the house. They didn't get outside until it was 90 degrees out and no rain in sight. The shade cloth allowed water through and keep the area cool so the plants didn't wilt. Our sunflowers are now over 6' tall and starting to bloom. I recommend this shade cloth in direct sun areas to help give plants a boost. It had grommets attached to help tie the cloth to the posts.
Isabella Stevenson
Working great Have it suspended oven my squash plants. No more droopy plants from the midday sun!
Alexandra Edmond
Works well. Good construction
Sean French
Mounted on t-posts these shade cloths do the job. Holds up well when wind is not crazy. Under high winds the grommets loosen and detach, but usually good for at least 2 outdoor growing seasons.
Benjamin Stollings
I have this over tomatoes, peppers, and peas in Florida. All seem to be thriving and getting sufficient light. I cut mine into strips because my garden is small and it is still holding together. I was worried it would unravel but so far so good. Make sure to stretch it tight when installing and fasten well. I left overhang on the sides and when the wind picks up it does try to billow with it.
Angel Blosser
Worked great. Keep my monstrous Big Bertha cactus from getting sunburned.
Morgan Blake
My plants were getting baked in the sun, this filters out a good amount of sunlight, plants are happier now
Very well made
George Garcia
I didn’t know that you’re supposed to protect newly planted cacti for the first summer. Now I feel like I’m (they’re) covered.
Blake Waugh
Cover over garden works great at filtering out some of the sun
Anthony Hooper
My jalapeno, poblano and other peppers were getting dun scald in the hot SC weather. I bought this 30% shade cloth and it works to stop the damage to my peppers. I don't know how many seasons I will get out of it, but so far it works well.
Bianca Button
Protecting plants, you can definitely feel the difference in temperature.
Cerys Walker
I haven't used it yet
Emily Glasfurd
Does just what there suppose to.

I ordered the 30% Shade Cloth to block some (but not too much) of the hot afternoon sun and protect my tomato plants. I have a tall PVC pipe and chickenwire enclosure to keep out animals. Last year the sun scalded lots of the tomatoes. It was easy to attach with string or zip ties through the grommets and the wire. The edging looks very strong. We've had a couple of thunderstorms come through in the couple of weeks since I installed the shade cloth, but I've not seen any problems yet. The loose "weave" lets plenty of air through too. That's about all I can say this early in the product's life.
Finn Humphery
Great sun shade for my tomato garden. Saved the plants during this heat wave. Think about this product especially if you have a small garden.
Eva Pattison
Keeps plants cool during summer.
Zachary McCracken
The product came in a vacuum sealed bag with no damage and worked perfectly for a shaded area in my chicken coop. The shade cloth has reinforced grommets with a durable edge. Looks great and provides lots of sun protection.
Jimmy Hernandez
Love it! lowers the heat pressure off my cucumbers! just wish id bought a little bigger size. but over all a great investment.
Michael Alexander
Poles and connections were easy to install and mt pepper bed is now safe from scalding summer heat. Nice and simple to install and hopefully will protect my bell peppers from scald in the summers heat.
Jonathon Hogan
Badly needed some shade cloth to protect tender and sun sensitive plants from the direct sun.
Purchased a 10' X 12' 30% shade cloth for the top of my green house extension where I hang ferns and other plants that just can't take being in direct sunlight all day.
This shade cloth has a good amount of grommets that can be used to secure the cloth to a structure. However, I didn't permanently affix the shade cloth to the roof of the structure, but just draped it over the roof and shot about a dozen staples in various locations to loosely secure and easily remove once the winter arrives.
This product was reasonable priced, easy to 'install', and seems to be well made.
It's doing the job as I expected.
Amber Madsen
fit perfectly
Steven Heath
Pretty cool stuff - strung it up to provide just a bid of shade for my asparagus plants (I didn't want the soil to overheat after planting new crowns). This created a very light shade to the area that seems perfect. The fabric is very lightweight and the perimeter seems to be reinforced well and the grommets seem secure. Hard to beat for the price.
Laura Watson
It's 105* in Central TX and the sun is guilty of attempted murder in the first degree of our poor seedlings. We ordered this shade cloth and it's the saviour of the garden. The squashes bounced back and put out new growth again. We leave the cloth up day/night. It's allowed enough light to get through that the plants are producing flowers and setting fruit but blocked enough light to keep them from crisping. The grommets are strong and hold up well against some pretty strong wind gusts. We haven't had a storm yet but I imagine its will do fine.
Daniel Sandoval
GREAT quality! Love the grommets and reinforced edges! Used to cover garden during hail season and ended up leaving it up as it created a nice filter for the blazing sun last summer!
Isabella Spicer
Light weight and easy to use. Does the job to protect plants from sun burn.
Isaac Windeyer
I used these as a dividers between our two pickleball courts to keep the balls from going to the other courts…in our gym at church….works great.
Side note…we got the less uva so as to still be able to see through the net…
Shannon Browne
Ease of use
Alexandra Edwards
Stapled this to my porch. Worked well, wind didn’t tear it up. Would order again.
Cooper Dethridge
Works good, easy to install
Madeline Bryan
Plants are loving this shade! Easy install and holds up in high winds.
Emily O'Donnell
This 30% shade was just what my dragon fruit plants needed in the peak of summer! It allows plenty of sun for the plants but blocks enough to avoid sunburns from too much direct sunlight.
Suzanne Jenkins
Worked great to shade vegetable garden. Not to thick, still let's enough light, kept enough shade to prevent burn out in 80% + weather.
Max Wearing
Very well made. Unfortunately, it's too large for my space and I'll have to return it.
Madeleine Thompson
Let me start by saying that if you live in Texas or any of the nearby southern states, you NEED a shade cloth for your garden! When the little seed packets say "Full Sun", they are not accounting for OUR sun. It has been consistently over 110° F in my area this summer and my plants would die if it were not for some sun protection. I installed the cloth in mid-June when temps were just starting to go over 100° F regularly and at that time, my plants were already wilting and showing significant signs of heat stress. After installation of the cloth, they perked up and started producing blooms and vegetables again even when the temps got to 110 and beyond. The pricing was fair and since I live in a rural area, purchasing from this website was a lot easier than going to physically find one.
This shade cloth absolutely saved my vegetable garden.
Isla Ballow
I like it very much
Harrison Murray
dropped the garden temp by 10 degrees**

Good Value
Aaliyah Clements
The shade cloth is made of strong material and so far has held up through two serious storms with strong winds.
Flynn Brooks
Bought this to keep the maple tree seeds from landing in the elevated garden; it is keeping everything out. It is working amazingly.

Renee Styles
No issues at all, kinda smells like bad camping gear. But its out in a greenhouse and should be ok in a couple of days. Just the rite amount of shade for tomaoes and peppers . Seems durable but dont yank on it if it gets snagged or you will tear it. So it is durable just dont be gorilla yanking it.
Andrew Grantham
I purchased this sun barrier to protect my blackberries from the intense sun and heat we’ve been experiencing for several summers in Lancaster County Pennsylvania. The sun would literally burn the berries and leaves turning the berries into little hard inedible pebbles and making the leaves crispy and brown. These generously sized covers easily covered my berry plants while reducing the amount of sunlight they receive. As a bonus the berries are also protected from the birds. The holes are large enough to allow rain to get to the plants and I can apply pesticide if needed. The covers are very sturdy and I anticipate getting a number of years of use from them. My berries are growing nicely and abundantly and so far not one has gotten hard.
I would recommend waiting until the flowers fall off to apply the cover so the pollinators can can do their job without interference.
Jose Allen
We suspend this screen from nearby trees to reduce UV rays in our garden.
Timothy Allen
My neighbors have a massive mulberry tree & will not cut it down .. dealing with this for 25+ years. Took a bit to set up but it does the job no more waisting 2 hrs a day of cleaning my yard. Sun still get through! Very happy with this product
Alexander Gates
Seems well made, and perfect to cut some of the hot Texas afternoon sun.
Sophie Knatchbull
This has saved my tomatoes!! It gets really hot here (104 degrees) & will fry plants fast. This has allowed shade & they are flourishing. Will definitely be getting some more!
Oscar Gollan
It gives my plants just enough protection that they can thrive in 100 degree weather, I am planning to cover the rest of my patio.
Susan Herzog
Sturdy edges and grommets, the loose weave to get 30% shade does snag, however, it does the job
Evie Birch
Ordered this for my daughter. She used this in our court yard to cover fruit plants from the birds.
Max Webster
I love this reusable handy garden shade fabric. Not only is it versatile, but it is also very durable so it can be reused multiple times. I have found it really helps young plants get established as well as protecting them from the blistering sun once they are established. It also was a life saver in regards to hail damage! I have lost so many plants in the past from hail and really want to continue to prevent future hail damage by using this product.
Matthew Carter
Very happy with product
John Chung
Seems great for the price, i hope it lasts 5 years
Matthew Harbin
Perfect to protect our plants and flowers from the brutal su/heat recently!
Hayley Barling
Bought this sunshade to cover our vegetable garden.
Summers here in the Central Valley in CA can be brutal for some veggies. They can tolerate the triple digit heat, but 8 hrs of blazing sun can be too much.
Last year, our cucumbers and eggplant produced little to no fruit, and the leaves on the normally sun loving zucchini were wilted for hours daily.
Regular watering using drip irrigation on timers and straw mulch on the beds to reduce reflected heat helped a little.
This 30% sunshade so far has shown promise. Comparing the light under the shaded to the unshaded areas, the difference is slight, but the difference in sun intensity is noticeable.
The shade appears well made and was easy to install. The entire shade is very lightweight so no worries about excessive sags or stress on anchors on windy days. Grommet holes are spaced about right and I used 6" ball bungees to secure to the 12x20 foot 1.5" pole frame previously purchased as a car canopy (see photos).
So far, happy with the purchase.
It's been in the upper 80s and 90s, but this weekend starts our triple digits season. I plan to update this review in a few months.
Caitlin Cecil
Put this over my tomatoes to relieve the blazing heat, they are thriving, whileu neighbors have stopped producing
Alica Perrett
Have had this covering our lettuce for the last week, since we received. They SO love getting out of the heat and have perked up considerably. We will be able to harvest for a few extra weeks. Cover is lightweight, but certainly does the job!
Isaac Sheehy
Works great over our garden
It has helped give much needed shade as we live in south Florida and it has been so hot
This was easy to install, light weight, seems to be holding up to the wind well.
Mohammad Hurst
Finally the advertised measurements match the finished product! I have bought several sizes of China made shade cloth over the years & this is the first time the item wasn't smaller than what was advertised. Hopefully this is a precursor of amazing things yet to come.
Daniel Kemp
I planted new fruit trees on the side of my house and used this stuff to shade them from the worst of Florida summer sun and heat. As I've subsequently discovered, 30% shade is also very helpful to help citrus resist greening disease. Used it also to make windbreaks and shade around newly planted avocado trees. I also tried to use it to shade some vegetables, but experiment failed as bugs ate everything up. I am also using it to shade new camellias until newly planted crape myrtles can shade them. At the end of summer cloth is just rolled up and stored until the next season. Great product.
Ava Salmon
Great shade for my veggies and flowers!
Henry Buck
I've purchased quite a bit of shade cloth for my garden area but this is the best version I've found. The edges have a border with grommets sewn into it which protects the edges and makes it easy to mount the cloth. I've left it up year round for the last couple of years and it has held up well to the weather. Available in a bunch of different sizes, my garden appreciates the break from the blazing hot sun.
Flynn Michael
I needed numerous small sections of shade cloth to protect plants I am starting outside in full sun in June in central Texas. Easily attached to supports with shade cloth clips.
Toby Balls-Headley
it came quickly and was just what I needed
Leah Netherton
I stretched it snug over some wood stakes and does not tear!
Victoria Knight
My tomatoes were sun scalded and ready to expire. I put up the shade cloth and watered deeply and they rebounded. Half of my tomatoes are under the shade cloth and another test section isn’t. After just a week the shaded tomatoes are thriving, the others struggling. The tomatoes are in full sun from dawn till dusk. The cloth held up perfectly in heavy wind.
Mohammad McLean
I am on year two and they still work amazing! My plants are happy and the pets love sitting in the shade they provide as well.
Millie Turner
Worked out great helped shade my patio
Grover Peden
This is great value and helped to transition my indoor plants outdoor. I tend to have issues with my plants being sun scorched when transplanting but this helped prevent that. I removed it after a few weeks and now the plants are ready for full sun!
Lydia Carpenter
went through hurricane Helene and Milton in central Florida, the metal carport that it was attached to was bent and destroyed but the canopy was still usable
Jai Krome
Have only had it a few weeks, but during that time, we’ve had some really big gusts come blowing through, and I essentially installed this thing in the middle of a wind tunnel between my house and the cinder block wall. So far so good. Shades my young plants well. Zone 7B early planting. Will need to upgrade to a higher uv block once summer hits.
Lydia Khan
Easy set up to add some shade to our vegetable garden that has previously suffered from direct desert sun. Nice that it has rivets all around for ease of set up.
Jennifer McCall
just what i wanted
Kimberly Hendrickson
Sturdy and easy to use. Plants are already showing improvement. Would like to see a lower cost though!
Isobel Robson
Worth the money.. would recommend it
Henry Sinclair
We’re experiencing extreme heat in California. I needed something to shade my garden. This worked perfectly!!
Gary Starr
shipped immediately. Made well, Just held up to 50mph wind gusts.
Sandra Coppa
Just as described. Good coverage and held up in the rain and getting pulled tight over the garden
Iris Fisher
Growing a garden at 7,000 feet can be challenging with the blistering sun. The shades protected my plants and allowed for a good grow of veggies.
Jeremy Tuckfield
screen is awesome helps me block out most the wind with my canopy. only thing is 30% is kinda letting alil too much sun or wind in. i think i need a 60% next time but its still good!
Charlotte Hooley
With the intense hot temperatures we are having in AZ, this netting is saving our pepper plants!
