90% Shade Cloth

It offers heavier coverage than our 30% and 50% options, making it perfect for shading delicate plants, cooling outdoor areas, or protecting animals and equipment from harsh sunlight. The mesh is tighter but still breathable, creating a cooler, more comfortable space underneath.

How long will it last?

This shade cloth is made to last. It’s built from weather-resistant materials that can handle sun, wind, and rain season after season. With proper use and care, you can expect it to stay effective for at least 5 years.

Material

We use high-quality knitted HDPE mesh with UV stabilization to resist fading and wear. The edges are reinforced to prevent fraying, and metal grommets are placed every 1 meter for easy, secure setup. Whether stretched over a greenhouse, patio, or animal enclosure, it installs quickly and holds tight.

What shade rate do I need?

We offer three levels of shade:

• 50%: A good balance of sun protection and light, suitable for most uses
• 90% (this one): Best for hotter climates, sensitive plants, or areas needing stronger cooling

If you're unsure, choose based on how much sun you want to block and what you're trying to protect. The 70% cloth is a solid pick when you need more shade without cutting off all light and airflow.

1. Select four stable anchor points (trees, posts, hooks, or wall anchors). Ensure 14" to 36" of space between the anchor points and netting corners for optimal tension and stability.
2. Attach the netting’s metal D-rings to the anchor points using ropes, carabiners, or bungee cords. Use turnbuckles on two corners for precise tension adjustments.
3. Fix the first corner, then the opposite corner to establish the desired tension and angle.
4. Adjust the remaining corners to eliminate sagging and balance the fabric.
5. Tighten progressively to avoid overstretching and ensure even tension across the netting.
6. Verify stability by checking for smooth contact with no sharp friction points, making any necessary adjustments for a secure setup.
